let's fucking do this!
Your engagement shoot is the perfect way to capture candid and casual shots together - as well as getting to know your photographer better! By the time your shoot is finished, you will be comfortable in front of the camera and will have some timeless photos to look back on.
Engagement sessions are completely up to you as a couple: what you want to wear, where you want to go, what activities or accessories you want included in the day, etc. It is also the perfect test run for the vibe that you want on your wedding day - make it your own!
01. Timeline
Each season is special, wherever we are in the world, so we'll schedule your engagement session so you can get the pictures you've been dreaming of! Whether it's a winter wonderland, springtime in bloom, a sun-filled beach day, or the colors of fall, we'll figure out the perfect time for your shoot.
I pride myself on capturing moments of intimacy - moments that perfectly capture who you both are as a couple, so this is something to think about when booking your date! Do you want an outdoor roller-skating session? A date at your favorite diner? Let's talk about it!

03. the photos
what am i talking about?
I know what you're thinking - photos? Isn't that your job?
Yes!
But a lot of couples have specific photos they want taken, so pull out that Pinterest board, get your inspiration flowing, and start making a list of all the photos you want taken.
the checklist:
A steamer to make sure your dress is pristine!
Get your rings polished before the big day!
remember the little things:
The little moments and pieces of your wedding are important as well, and I want to capture them! Detail shots are some of my favorites because you, the couple, chose these things that highlights your style and the intention behind the wedding day.
